Allison and Hunter's wedding film at Villa Cetinale

In April 2026, Allison and Hunter gathered 68 of their closest people at Villa Cetinale. This 17th-century villa sits in the hills near Siena. They travelled to Italy for an intimate destination wedding. First a welcome dinner, then a wedding day among Baroque gardens, cypress trees and soft Tuscan light. Their celebration was also featured on Carats & Cake.

I followed them on both days as their wedding content creator. Here is their Villa Cetinale wedding, seen from behind the scenes.

A wedding designed by the bride herself

Allison is an event planner and designer. She runs The Fancy Girl, her own event design studio. So her wedding was never going to be a simple list of choices. It was a creation, with her signature on every detail.

What touched me most was her sensitivity. She put her whole heart into each detail and each attention for her guests. Classical busts crowned with grapes. Lace draped over the aperitivo tables. A long table running through the gardens, lit by candles. Nothing was there by chance, and you could feel it all day long.

Why Allison booked a wedding content creator

For her, having a content creator by her side was obvious from the start. As a planner, she knows how fast a wedding day goes. She also knows how many small moments happen far from the official cameras.

My role was to catch those moments as they happened. The last touches in the villa library. A glass of champagne with the bride. A quiet kiss between two rooms. The toasts in the garden. Everything filmed on iPhone, so Allison and Hunter could relive their day and share it while it was still fresh.

An intimate destination wedding in Tuscany

Villa Cetinale is the kind of place that makes a wedding feel like a private story. The day moved from the villa interiors to the gardens for aperitivo, then to a long dinner under the stars. Late at night, Allison and Hunter ended up on the villa stairs, laughing, the bride in a second look.

With only 68 guests, everyone was close. Close to the couple, close to the emotions, and close to the table. That is the beauty of an intimate wedding in Italy: nobody is a spectator.

Fun fact: one outfit and a lost suitcase

Every wedding comes with a story, and this one has mine. On my way to Tuscany, the airline lost my luggage. I arrived with only the outfit I was wearing. So before the celebrations began, I went shopping and built a whole new wardrobe for the two days of events. My filming kit was with me. My suitcase, not so much!
